Matt Rickard I'll be cycling throughout the month of June to support kids in Thailand - 800kms in 30 days!

I have joined a movement to help Hands Across the Water survive the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 70% of their planned fundraising has been wiped out for the rest of 2020. The world is on hold. Fundraising is on hold. But the kids that Hands supports, their lives can't be put on hold. They are in the fight of their lives and I'm jumping on board to help.

So this June, I will be jumping on my bike to participate in a virtual cycling experience. I have accepted the challenge to cycle 800km over the 30 days of June and raise funds to support the work of Hands. I live in the northern Thailand hills so my legs will be getting well deserved workout.

Hands Across the Water supports 350+ children living in 7 homes and projects across Thailand. The charity started out addressing the needs of kids who didn't have homes or access to food, clothing and medicine. As the kids have grown and matured, the focus has shifted to education and future employment opportunities. Today, access to new and exciting opportunities for the kids is just as important as a loving home and a belly full of healthy food.

Your donation will help provide a high standard of care, a chance at a better education and a future that they never envisioned. More importantly, your donation will help keep the charity and the dreams of the kids alive.
