18 Young Lives. One Open Door.

This October, 18 of our young people and their carers are heading to Bangkok for four days that could change how they see their future.

Thanks to the generosity of AustCham Thailand, half the program has already been funded. We are now raising the remaining A$4,290 to make the experience possible for every participant.

For many of the young people in our care, who have grown up in our homes in rural Thailand, Bright Futures will be their first glimpse of a big city and the full sweep of what’s possible. They will meet professionals, visit workplaces and universities, connect with mentors, and begin imagining a future beyond what they know today.

What makes this program even more special is that it is being designed by Fahpetch, a young man who grew up at BTN himself. Today, as our Youth Wellbeing Officer, he is helping create the very opportunities he once needed. His lived experience brings a depth of understanding that no textbook or consultant ever could.

There is something incredibly powerful about a young person who has walked the path now helping others find theirs.

With EOFY approaching, now is the perfect time to help us close the gap and ensure every young person can take part in this life-changing experience.
