I am raising money to support the children of Hands Across the Water because I believe that all children deserve to build a future full of possibilities, opportunities and dreams - a life of choice, not chance.

Hands Across the Water [Hands] started as a charity in response to the Boxing Day Tsunami. Now we support 200+ children living in 7 homes and projects across Thailand.

The kids who come to live in a Hands home are there because they have no choice. This is often the result of one of three heartbreaking situations:

  • They have no known family to care for them
  • They have a family member who is known to them, but is unable to care for them
  • They are living in an unsafe environment and have been placed in our care by the police or government

Hands not only provides the life-saving necessities for the kids in our homes, they also support many families in an outreach program to help keep kids out of our homes.

Just as important as filling their bellies with healthy food and providing a safe bed to sleep in, with the support of amazing donors like you, the vision of Hands is to help these kids see the opportunities that lie before them, to see a life of choice.

My hope is that you will make the choice to join me in this experience and help me reach my personal fundraising goal. Please make a donation today to support these children and provide them with a better future.

Together we can truly make a difference - Donate now!

Why I Joined the Project Crew for Fitphoria Expedition

Friday 12th Dec

For as long as I can remember, all the way back to high school, I’ve had the desire to give my time, energy, and heart to a cause bigger than myself. Life took me through different chapters, challenges, and responsibilities, but that calling never really went away. I always imagined a moment where I could finally step forward and be part of something meaningful… and now I’m grateful to say that moment is here.

I’ve officially registered for the Project Crew on the Fitphoria Expedition, supporting the incredible work of Hands Across the Water. This organisation changes the lives of vulnerable children and communities in Thailand through housing, education, and long-term support, not just charity, but sustainable impact.

What makes this even more special is that my franchisee, Lachlan Creighton, is taking on the massive ride to help raise funds for this cause. Watching his commitment, passion, and courage inspired me to find my own way of contributing. I may not be on the bike, but I’m proud to be part of the team behind the scenes, doing what I can to help create real change.

I feel genuinely blessed to now be in a position where I can give back in a meaningful way, with time, energy, and intention. Being part of this project isn’t just about helping a charity; it’s about stepping into something I’ve wanted to do for years, and doing it with a community of people who believe in making a difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your support ~ whether through sharing, donating, or cheering us on ~ means more than you know. Together, we can help create safer futures and brighter opportunities for the children who need it most.

Stronger together, always. 💜
