No—fundraising is not compulsory for this challenge, but we encourage you to set a fundraising goal to make the challenge meaningful for both yourself and those who will support you. Through fundraising, you will provide 350 children in our care with access to basic necessities, healthcare, and education. Importantly, you provide them with a brighter future and a life of choice. Registration incentive: Every registration made with $50 raised before 9th June will be entered into the draw to win a prize (the Prize will be drawn on Monday, 10th June).

Fundraising target incentives: 

• Raise $100 - You will receive our Hands-branded socks
• Raise $200 - You will receive our Hands-branded training shirt
• Raise $500 - You will be entered to win an exclusive “mystery” prize
• Corporate Team prize: TBC

Getting started can be a bit daunting at first, but the hardest part is just starting, and then it gets easier. Below are our top 3 tips to get your fundraising dial off zero: 

Your online fundraising page is the most simple and effective way to kick-start your fundraising. Update your page with your profile image and a story about why you are fundraising, and share directly from your page to kickstart those dollars coming in. 

Make a personal donation to your fundraising page. This can help set the tone for your supporters and show your commitment to your experience.
