This is where you do pre-payment for the Sausage Sizzle on Friday 11th August.

Simply Nominate how much you wish to donate - please make sure it is at least the amount of your sausage sizzle order!  Feel free to donate more.  You will receive a Tax Deductible receipt for the entire amount you donate.

Castle House chose to support Hands Across the Water.  By pre-paying on this site, you will receive a Tax Deductable receipt as the funds will go direct to Hands Across that Water which is a registered charity.  Please make sure you have also completed the Order form so we can be sure that your child / children get a yummy lunch!




In case you were wondering......... I have been looking forward to riding 500km in Thailand since I was 8 years old as that is when, as a family, we got really involved in supporting Hands Across the Water.

My Dad rode 500km (for the second time) while my Mum and brother and I were at the orphanage getting to know and love the children at one of the Homes for at risk children in Thailand.  We also saw first-hand the amazing work that Hands do and saw the opportunities that the children have as they had a safe place to live, received excellent education and lots of love.

My ride will be in 2024 and yes, I will be doing my HSC then but it is such a great opportunity to do something for others that I will make it happen.  All donations go directly to support the children, our family pay for airfares, bike hire, accommodation and meals.  As a family we also must raise at least $10,000 so please donate generously.

Hands Across the Water [Hands] started as a charity in response to the Boxing Day Tsunami. Now we support 350+ children living in 7 homes and projects across Thailand. 

The kids who come to live in a Hands home are there because they have no choice. This is often the result of one of three heartbreaking situations:

  • They have no known family to care for them
  • They have a family member who is known to them, but is unable to care for them
  • They are living in an unsafe environment and have been placed in our care by the police or government

Hands not only provides the life-saving necessities for the kids in our homes, they also support many families in an outreach program to help keep kids out of our homes.

Just as important as filling their bellies with healthy food and providing a safe bed to sleep in, with the support of amazing donors like you, the vision of Hands is to help these kids see the opportunities that lie before them, to see a life of choice.

My hope is that you will make the choice to join me in this experience and help me reach my personal fundraising goal. Please make a donation today to support these children and provide them with a better future.
