12 weeks to go......riding the heat of Thailand for the little ones :-)

In 12 weeks' time the 800km in 8 days bike ride through northeast Thailand starts. Like last time, we raise funds for Hands Across the Water. They are an outstanding group who provide safety, a loving environment and hope to young Thai children who have been dealt some very tough cards early in their life. I rode for them 2 years ago and was deeply impacted, quite a reset on what is important in life and how I could, in some small way, help those who haven’t had the same lucky life I have. Of course there are many fabulous charities who do great work for many causes. But you have to put your peg in the sand and support one, as much as you’d love to help them all. Since my ride we now sponsor beautiful young George. From now until Jan 2nd I’ll be putting in around 100km/week of training and then hitting the heat of Thailand for the 800km.
