I am riding 700kms over 7 days in Thailand. If you had asked me to do this 2 years ago, there is no way I would have even sat on a bike. After losing 62kg, I am thrilled to be challenging myself and raising money for this amazing cause!

Something kinda crazy happened. Steve Carroll was mad enough (and kind enough) to help me join the incredible Hands Across the Water Team for the February 2025 Digital Live Charity Bike Ride in THAILAND! The FIRST ever Tasmanian Rider (whoop #represent!) I will be cycling 700kms over 7 days with 36 phenomenal real estate humans!

Now, we have to raise a minimum of $5,000 each - but friends we all know I’m an OVER-ACHIEVER  So I need YOUR help to hit my target of $10,000 - all raised for the amazing work that Hands do for children in need.  

So $5, $10, $100, $1000 - how much would YOU pay to watch ME (who has minimal experience on a bike), suffer through a year of training, butt pain and heat stroke? Because we already know I’ll be documenting the whole thing!

ABOUT HANDS:

Hands Across the Water [Hands] started as a charity in response to the Boxing Day Tsunami. Now we support 350+ children living in 7 homes and projects across Thailand. 

The kids who come to live in a Hands home are there because they have no choice. This is often the result of one of three heartbreaking situations:

• They have no known family to care for them

• They have a family member who is known to them, but is unable to care for them

• They are living in an unsafe environment and have been placed in our care by the police or government

Hands not only provides the life-saving necessities for the kids in our homes, they also support many families in an outreach program to help keep kids out of our homes.

Just as important as filling their bellies with healthy food and providing a safe bed to sleep in, with the support of amazing donors like you, the vision of Hands is to help these kids see the opportunities that lie before them, to see a life of choice.
