Opening Circle & Takua Pa Old Town Cultural Experience

Begin with an Opening Circle featuring a cultural introduction, meditation and traditional blessing ceremony, setting the retreat’s themes of Connection, Culture and Community.

After lunch, travel to Takua Pa Old Town dressed in traditional Baba–Yaya attire. Explore historic streets, temples, heritage shop houses and local cafés while discovering the town’s multicultural heritage and sampling traditional Southern Thai treats.

The day concludes with an authentic Southern Thai dinner, offering time to connect, reflect and enjoy the warmth of the local community.

Reconnect with Nature & Sustainable Living

Begin with an optional Daily Guided Session with retreat facilitator Tracey Smith before visiting the BTN Farm & Vanilla Plantation to learn about sustainable farming, including rubber tapping and vanilla cultivation, and take part in a volunteer activity.

Enjoy a fresh farm-to-table lunch, followed by a relaxing nature experience at a local waterfall or natural hot spring. The day finishes with an authentic Thai dinner at a local restaurant.

Stories of Resilience, Hope & Human Connection

Begin with an optional Daily Guided Session, followed by a visit to the Ban Nam Khem Tsunami Memorial Park & International Tsunami Museum to learn about the 2004 tsunami, the community’s recovery and the story behind Hands Across the Water.

After lunch, spend meaningful time with the children and community at Baan Tharn Namchai (BTN) through shared activities.

End the day at Takua Pa Sunday Walking Street, enjoying local food, crafts, culture and live performances.

Explore the spectacular Phang Nga Bay aboard a premium cruise, surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs, emerald waters and hidden lagoons.

Visit James Bond Island, explore sea caves at Panak Island and enjoy a peaceful canoe journey through Hong Island’s tranquil lagoons. After swimming and relaxing, create your own Krathong before enjoying a Thai buffet dinner at sunset.

As night falls, float your Krathong and discover the magical glow of bioluminescent plankton before returning to Khao Lak.
