Nikki Umana-Tate If you're reading this then you know me well enough to know how important Hands Across the Water is to me. You know about the important work that they do and you know about the kids they support.

You've seen me for years post about it, talk about it, cry about it, organise fundraisers, raise $5,000 every year, cry about it again and then head over to Thailand and ride 500kms in 5 days.

You've all supported me year after year and for that I am forever grateful!

Right now, things are really tough for Hands and they really need our help to survive the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over 70% of their planned fundraising has been wiped out for the rest of 2020.

The world is on hold. Fundraising is on hold. But the kids that Hands supports, their lives can't be put on hold. They are in the fight of their lives and I'm jumping on board to help.

So this June, I will be jumping on my bike to participate in a virtual cycling experience. I have accepted the challenge to cycle 800km over the 30 days of June and raise funds to support the work of Hands.

Again, for those that know me well, you'll know I usually ONLY cycle 5 days a year (when I'm in Thailand) so this is a big stretch for me.. But I'm willing to make an exception!

Usually I'm chasing a HUGE amount for fundraising, however we know times are tough right now, so each of us has a fundraising target of just $500.

Every donation, big or small, will go such a long way and be more appreciated than ever!

Thanks for the support!

PS. you can always join us and sign up too!

Hands Across the Water supports 350+ children living in 7 homes and projects across Thailand. The charity started out addressing the needs of kids who didn't have homes or access to food, clothing and medicine. As the kids have grown and matured, the focus has shifted to education and future employment opportunities. Today, access to new and exciting opportunities for the kids is just as important as a loving home and a belly full of healthy food.

Your donation will help provide a high standard of care, a chance at a better education and a future that they never envisioned. More importantly, your donation will help keep the charity and the dreams of the kids alive.

All donations above $2 are tax deductible Nikki Umana-Tate
