Colin Grierson Hi everyone, I've joined the DTR crowd for a 400km cycle ride in Thailand February next year (2020) They the ride 2 years ago and came back on a real high, so when they said they were going to do it again I put my hand up. After all, I've been riding to work and back (12.5km) - 100km a day for 4 days can't be so hard... and really, so long as I'm not the slowest all is well.

The ride, and other activities, is partly a trip in it's own right, partly a team building exercise and partly fundraising to support the Hands Across the Water charity. The image on this page came from when the DTR team visited an orphanage on the last trip. You can find much more about Hands Across the Water on this web site and I can tell you the DTR team were sufficiently impress after their first trip the company has become an official supporter they have organised the trip I am going on.

So I need to raise money for the donation I have promised as part of the trip conditions and am asking you to help by donating some here.

Many thanks

Hands Across the Water supports 350+ children living in 7 homes and projects across Thailand. The charity started out addressing the needs of kids who didn't have homes or access to food, clothing and medicine. As the kids have grown and matured, the focus has shifted to education and future employment opportunities. Today, access to new and exciting opportunities for the kids is just as important as a loving home and a belly full of healthy food.

Your donation will help provide a high standard of care, a chance at a better education and a future that they never envisioned.

100% of your donation will go straight to the kids and their communities in Thailand with not one cent spent on administration or marketing. Colin Grierson
