I am raising money to support the children of Hands Across the Water because I believe that all children deserve to build a future full of possibilities, opportunities and dreams - a life of choice, not chance.

Riding for Choice: Empowering Disabled Children with Hands Across the Water

As I reflect on my journey with Hands Across the Water, I am moved by the profound impact this charity has on the lives over 350 children in Thailand. Riding for this cause goes beyond the physical challenge; it is a testament to our commitment to giving these children a life of choice, not change. Here, I share the heartfelt reasons why this cause has become so dear to my heart, especially the Northen Ride that takes to Home Hug where there are several Special Needs children and kids that are living with HIV-AIDS

Every pedal stroke I take is a step closer to empowering the children under Hands’ care to live a life of choice. Hands Across the Water believes in providing opportunities for these children to pursue their dreams and aspirations, breaking down barriers and fostering independence.

Hands Across the Water's mission of creating sustainable change resonates deeply with me. By supporting projects that focus on the long-term well-being of disabled children, we are laying the foundation for a future where they can thrive and make their own choices, regardless of their disabilities.

The sense of community within Hands Across the Water is incredibly inspiring. As we ride together, we are united by our shared goal of giving Special Needs children the chance to live life on their own terms. Together, we celebrate their achievements and support them every step of the way.

Riding long distances is a physical and emotional challenge, but it pales in comparison to the challenges faced by the marginalised. By pushing myself to the limit, I honour their resilience and determination to overcome obstacles and live life to the fullest.

Exploring the unknown on Hands Across the Water rides reminds me of the limitless possibilities that await Special Needs kids when given the opportunity to pursue their passions and interests. Every new experience is a chance for them to discover their strengths and capabilities.

Shining a light on the injustices faced by disabled children is at the heart of Hands Across the Water's mission. Through our advocacy efforts, we strive to create a world where they are seen, heard, and valued for who they are, not defined by their disabilities.

Through fundraising efforts, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of Hands Across the Water's work on disabled children's lives. From providing access to education and healthcare to fostering independence and self-confidence, every dollar raised gives these children a chance at a brighter future.

Crossing the finish line of a Hands Across the Water ride is a celebration of hope and resilience. It symbolizes our unwavering commitment to giving disabled children the freedom to choose their own path in life, free from limitations and constraints.

Hands Across the Water's commitment to transparency and accountability ensures that every donation made goes directly toward supporting the children under their care. I trust in their dedication to making a meaningful difference in their lives and am proud to be a part of ‘Hands’ mission.

Riding for ‘Hands’ is about more than just raising funds; it's about being part of a global movement dedicated to empowering Special Needs children and giving them the opportunities they deserve. Together, we are changing lives and shaping a future where every child has the chance to live a life of choice, not change.

My journey with ‘Hands’ has been a deeply meaningful and transformative experience. Through the challenges and triumphs, I've been inspired by the resilience and courage of the children. As we continue to ride for their cause, I am filled with hope and determination to create a world where they are empowered to live life on their own terms.
