Join the Run to Remember Challenge
Help Us Raise $1 Million to Shape Brighter Futures for Our Kids!
Join Our Founder, Peter Baines, in a Global Virtual Mission: The Run to Remember Challenge — Unite, Run, and Honour a Legacy of Resilience.
For 26 days this December, you can make a real impact by running wherever you are. Choose to go solo or join a team, and pick a distance that suits you best — 20 kilometres or 60 kilometres. Every step you take helps us reach our goal of $1 million, providing disadvantaged children in Thailand with the education, resources, and opportunities they need for a life of choice and potential.
This isn’t just a run; it’s a movement empowering young lives with access to education, resources, and hope. Together, let’s honour resilience, build hope, and shape a future full of choice.
While Pete is achieving his goal, you can achieve your personal goal
Beginning December 1st, Peter Baines will take on an extraordinary challenge—running 1,400 kilometres across Thailand, covering 60 kilometres each day. As Peter pushes his limits, YOU'RE INVITED to join him by committing to your own 26-day challenge, setting a distance that matches your personal goals.
Why Run with Us?
This isn’t just a run; it’s a tribute to the 20th anniversary of the Boxing Day Tsunami, the event that sparked the creation of Hands Across the Water. Join us in celebrating the remarkable strength of communities united by shared experiences and their power to drive lasting change.

What is the best way to start my fundraising?
Getting started can be a bit daunting at first, but the hardest part is just starting, and then it gets easier. Below are our top 3 tips to get your fundraising dial off zero:
Your online fundraising page is the most simple and effective way to kick-start your fundraising. Update your page with your profile image and a story about why you are fundraising, and share directly from your page to kickstart those dollars coming in.
