From Vision to Impact: 20 Years of Hands Across the Water

Hands Across the Water (Hands) started in 2005 and at the time, it was a naive belief that if we built a home for the kids living in a tent after the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami then their problems would be over. Oh how wrong we were...

Nearly 20 years later our initial vision of a home for 32 kids has expanded to over 350+ children in our care. Our origins have shaped where we are today, and I am excited to share where we are heading in our twentieth year and beyond.

From Vision to Impact will be held on Tuesday, 4th June at 5pm (Sydney time) and is hosted by Peter Baines, our Founder and Director of International Operations.
Join us for this presentation, an opportunity to learn more about Hands if you are new to our community, and offer an exciting update to those who have been with us for some time on where we are headed in 2024 and beyond.
