Competition Terms and Conditions RIDE TO PROVIDE VIRTUAL CHALLENGE – KING and QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAIN Instructions, prizes and information on how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, entrants accept these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter is Hands Across the Water of PO Box 953, Narrabeen, NSW, 2101. The promotional period begins at 12.01am AEST on Monday 1st June, 2020 and concludes at 12.00pm AEST on Wednesday 1st July, 2020 (“Promotional Period”). This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual fundraising achievements. Entries are open to individuals who register for the Ride to Provide Virtual Challenge. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and third parties associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin. To be eligible to enter, individuals must, (a) Purchase a full price registration for Ride to Provide Virtual Challenge, (b) Set up a fundraising page on the Hands Across the Water website or Facebook Fundraiser, and (c) Raise minimum $500 for Hands Across the Water charity. If using Facebook as the fundraising platform, the participant must send a screenshot of the finished campaign by 11.59am AEST on Wednesday 1st July, 2020. The two winners of the Promotion shall be determined by the Promoter on the amount raised for their Ride to Provide Virtual Challenge. The winner will be the highest male fundraiser and highest female fundraiser during the Promotion Period. The assessment will take place at 12.00pm AEST on Friday 3rd July, 2020. The winners will be notified by phone and email and announced on the Promoter website www.handsacrossthewater.org.au If under 18 years of age, express permission of parent/guardian is required before entering this promotion. Prize will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian who consented to the entrant registering in the Promotion on behalf of that entrant, at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Winners of the competition must be a resident of Australia and New Zealand. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control. The prize is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. Prize cannot be exchanged for another itinerary In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not accept the prize at the time stipulated by Tourism Authority of Thailand or Hands Across the Water then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize. The winner is required to obtain the relevant & suitable travel insurance at their own expense in order to be able to take the competition prize. It is the traveller's personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to: Valid passports, visas, and health requirements, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s. The two individuals as assessed by the Promoter will each win the prize. The prize includes a Thailand Package travel voucher from Webjet, the online travel agent. The value for the voucher is $2,500. The voucher comprises of air ticket and accommodation in Thailand only, up to the value of the voucher. No tours are included. Any Additional spending money, flights, meals, insurance, taxes, passports, visas, extra accommodation, items of a personal nature, inoculations, travel to and from departure point, and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner. Unless expressly stated, all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image, voice and/or social media posts content in the event they are the winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome). If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner within 30 days of the announcement and the Promoter has made every effort to contact them with the information provided by the entrant then the Promoter will award the prize to another valid entrant. By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules.
