With International borders closed and travel restrictions likely to be in place for some time yet due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all of Hands' riding experiences for 2020, and possibly 2021, are postponed.

Each year our Ride to Provide experiences in Thailand, and their associated fundraising components, makeup $1.2M AUD of the annual $1.9M AUD in operating costs for the seven homes we support - that's almost 70% of our total fundraising efforts!

The world is on hold. Training is on hold. Fundraising is on hold.

But the kids whose lives we support, we can't put them on hold.

As a community we have banded together and agreed that we won’t be stopped.

Which is why we are taking to our bikes in June to take on the 800km Coastal Ride to Provide virtual style. All in a bid to keep the ride alive and raise much needed funds to continue supporting our 350+ kids and their communities in Thailand.

We invite you to jump on a bike in June to take on our 800km Ride to Provide Virtual Challenge.

You can do it stationery in the comfort of your living room or out on the open road, whatever your choice we’re doing this to challenge ourselves in June and raise much needed funds to keep Hands alive.

The difference between a Group and Individual Registration

The primary difference between registering as a Group or as an Individual is:

  • A Group shares the 800km distance. Meaning when each group member logs activity in your group profile in My Virtual Mission, you will move further along the 800km route.
  • An Individual does the 800km distance solo.

All other details remain the same per person, including registration fee and fundraising target.

Zoom Calendar

Just like a spin class but way better! We have created twice-daily spin sessions that will be hosted through Zoom to help you clock up your km. Each day will showcase one leg of our Thailand Ride to Provide - you can cruise down the coast of Thailand in the comfort of your lounge room taking in all of the beautiful sights that this amazing country has to offer.

We have lined up some incredible guests to join us for some of the sessions.  Our ride ambassador Michael Tomalaris from SBS and Hands Founder Peter Baines will tap into the minds of these inspirational guests in an interview style chat.
