After the success of the first Taskforce in November 2010 and again in April 2011, we are heading back. The transformation that was undertaken during the November trip was nothing short of life changing for those who attended and for those who live at the orphanage. We are returning in November of 2011, from the 12th till the 19th to continue the work that was started. Once again we are looking for those with trades but there will also be room for those who may lack a trade but are willing to get their hands dirty. Personal Logistics: All the volunteers will be responsible for their own costs in getting to and from Ubon Ratchatani. We will work towards securing accommodation in Yasothon and secure the best deals that we can (we will not use donors money on supporting volunteers so you will need to cover your own costs). Location: The orphanage is located in the Yasothon province which is 530 km North East of Bangkok. Easiest way to get there is a flight into Bangkok and then a domestic flight to Ubon Ratchatani. It is then a 75km drive from the airport. |
